Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore and suggest some partial solutions on the impact of decision makers' alignment (DMA) on hospital strategic performance (HSP) from the perspectives of employees working in hospitals of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Design/methodology/approach: A questionnaire -based approach was adopted to explore the impact of DMA on HSP in Saudi Arabia. The questionnaire instrument was designed by reviewing the previous studies and literature on strategic alignment in different fields of business. It was also, reviewed by experts and subjected to statistical tests (Ref to table#1). Findings: The study found that, the strategic alignment of decision makers had significant impact on organizational performance. Study limitations: Finding the primary data and distributing the questionnaire (cooperation of studied organizations) and the financial fund are big problems faced the researcher. Most of the studied hospitals' employees were reluctant to participate. Originality/value: The novelty of the paper lied in conducting a study on strategic alignment practices from perspectives of administrative and medical staff in hospitals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
