ABSTRACT
The article cautions business owners against potential electronic fraud. The experience of Sunny Daga and Suresh Bafna, owners of plastics company Wrap-Tite Inc., of loosing 500,000 dollars in an e-mail scam is described. Comment from lawyer Dan Harris on the bank account switch scam and its impact on international companies, as well as the unsecured computer networks of Chinese companies is presented. Tips to guard against electronic fraud are offered.
