ABSTRACT
The article focuses on sustainable growth rate (SGR) as one of the formulas that are used by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to pay the different medical products and services of patients. It mentions that the SGR mechanism is aimed to control spending for the services of the physicians.
