ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance of standards-based labeling and dynamic cable management for professionally installed network cabling infrastructures. It notes that properly executed network infrastructure labeling system and cable management helps simplify troubleshooting, lower the long-term cost of ownership, and ensure quality assurance and audit compliance with warranty terms. It highlights the effectiveness of ANSI/TIA-606-B standard for identification and labeling.
