ABSTRACT
The article offers information on importance of the military history in the U.S. It discusses several advantages of studying military history which include sharpening of one's critical thinking and analytical skills, enables the analysis of personalities, events, forces, and movements of humans over time, and offers previous experience of leadership of previous generations of military planners and leaders.
