ABSTRACT
The article examines some technologies aimed at recycling and repurposing polyolefins, vinyls and textiles and the challenges facing the recycling industries. Topics discussed include the properties of polymer-based materials that make them desirable for the manufacturing industry, the details of the VinyLoop recycling process developed by Vadxx Energy LLC of Cleveland, Ohio and the TexyLoop technology inaugurated by VinyLoop Ferrara S.p.A. in Italy.
