ABSTRACT
The article reports on the performance of the United States advertising and mass media sectors in light of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. A survey has suggested that 76% of consumers polled are being careful about their spending in the next three months. Advertisers claim that their actions in wartime will depend on consumers' attitude. Advertising and media stocks have performed well for the week of March 28-April 4, 2003.
