The article reports on a study from the IPD/Acuitus cPad Auction Market Flash which analyzes the British commercial properties sold at auction in December 2013. It reports that the prime yield for properties was at 6.6 percent, while the secondary yield stood at 10.4 percent. It reveals that the yield gap between prime and secondary properties was at 380 basis points, lower than the prevailing 450 basis points in 2013. The implication of the figures on property investments is also analyzed.
