ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to reveal the affects of educational philosophy courses, the pre-school teacher training course in the undergraduate program, in the view of prospective teachers' philosophy preference and critical pedagogy. Sample of the study consisted of a total of 70 teacher candidates, undergraduate program in first year, in 2012-2013 Educational year. "Philosophy Preference Assessment" scale developed by Wiles & Bondi (1984,80) and "Principles of Critical Pedagogy Scale" developed by Yılmaz (2009) were used to asses perceptions of teachers' educational philosophies and critical pedagogy. Independent T-test was used to analyse the data. It is found that there are significant differences in the views of teachers' educational philosophy and critical pedagogy after educational philosophy course.
