ABSTRACT
The article discusses the sexual relationship between humans and animals, particularly in Aelian or Claudius Aelianus' book "De Natura Animalium." It claims that the sexual intercourse with animals has been called bestiality, buggery, sodomy, zooerasty, zoosexuality and zoophilia. The works of Judith C. Adams and her colleagues on the subject are also cited.
