ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the U.S. policy aimed at Asia and the Pacific as a wrong strategy at the wrong time. It mentions the justifications made by former U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton on why the said regions should be focused in terms of her country's policy including the increasing population of the regions, and the challenges that confront the region. It cites the 2012 Failed States Index of Fund for Peace as a wrong reference used by the U.S. in making its policies for the region.
