ABSTRACT
The article reports on the preference of U.S. exhibition basketball team Harlem Globetrotters when it comes to driving ticket sales. The team reportedly had no luck using Facebook and Twitter advertisements but they find e-mail as their best platform to do direct marketing and sell tickets believing that people are already used to it. The Globetrotters, however, would reportedly still use social media to assist its e-mail campaigns and strengthen its customer database.
