ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the use of drone aircraft to prevent elephant poaching in Kenya. The drones were initially used for tracking poachers armed with rifles. However, conservationists discovered that the sound of the aircraft could be used to drive elephants away from danger. According to James Hardy, manager of the Mara North Conservancy, the future of conservation depends on drones.
