Wind turbines are considered equipment that can provide a significant percent of electricity needed. Lately, large investments are made in order to reduce environment pollution and carbon footprint of every human activity. Safety of these devices depends largely on the investment in their foundation structure. Soil-foundation interaction study considering the action of the wind on the superstructure in different location could increase their reliability in the context of reducing investment costs. The superstructure of wind turbines has not only supportive role, or hosting role for a part of operation devices, but represents the system that ensures the assembly stability and strength. It is a slender structure, who is called to operate in a specific environment in terms of external loads, the wind being the most important for the entire scheme purpose. For such a challenge and taking into account accidents occurring in operational wind fields, the team members carry out a study concerning the impact of wind load in the total economy of general vibrations and associated displacements. The displacements are dangerous and could initiate stability loss by pulling from the foundation soil. Even more, vibrations could generate resonance phenomenon conducing to stability loss and resistance overcoming. To monitor the described phenomenon, it was used a special equipment and there are recorded vibration values over a relevant period of time, in operating conditions and weather parameters important for analysis. Thus, it could be demonstrated the need of a specific requirement of structure behavior monitoring in terms of vibrations, and the need of a permanent correlation between weather and site operation decision. Measurements made highlight the fact that some of the wind intensities lead to significant vibrations during plant operation, but the values are decreasing importantly when the turbines stopped. In these conditions it may be developed the idea of an operation procedure for high intensity wind condition in order to achieve a reassuring safety factor, necessity imposed by the climate change period the whole world is experiencing. Because wind energy obtaining technology is considered as an expensive one (cause to the initial investment), it is necessary that the proposed solutions not only to cover technical aspects but also to be economically affordable
