ABSTRACT
The article reports on jailed Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, who turned vegetarian in 2001 during his imprisonment in the fodder scam case, claiming that Lord Shiva appeared in his dreams. After coming out of prison, Yadav became the Railways Minister and later broke his vegetarianism on the eve of the 2009 General Elections when he started eating fish and chicken.
