Voices from inside Australia's detention centres

The article presents testimonies from people who had previously been asylum seekers in immigration detention and now are permanent residents in Australia about their experiences and its impact on them. The interviewed asylum seekers describe the stress of immigration detention and their physical and emotional response to it. They share the coping strategy they developed to lessen their thoughts about detention.
