ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the standards of information literacy that has served higher education libraries in Pennsylvania. It informs that standards for information literacy were provided by the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) in 2000. The five elements of standards include determining the nature and extent of the information need, access of information, evaluating the information for quality, using information effectively, and use the information ethically.
