ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the Hungarian banking system and its resilience. The author says that capital injections by parent banks during the end of the previous year to the beginning of 2013 has caused consolidation of capital position of the banking sector and increased the sector's shock-absorbing capacity and resilience. The article presents data including the Hungarian gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate and macroeconomic scenarios at baseline and stress scenarios.
