ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the state of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL) as of July 2013. It comments on the 47th International Conference and Exhibition of IATEFL, held in Liverpool, England in April 2013, as well as addresses the formation of the Materials Writing Special Interest Group (MaW SIG), and the appointment of Carol Read as the IATEFL President through 2015.
