ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the wind power density in Paraiba, Brazil and also discusses the efficiency of Brazilian developments on the regional atmospheric modeling system (BRAMS), a mesoscale atmospheric model. It informs that the BRAMS can efficiently produce wind regime when it is used to measure wind direction and wind speed at 10 meter high position. It also mentions that observational data related to wind speed and direction were provided by the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET).
