ABSTRACT
This section offers international news briefs on French language instruction as of March 2013. The article discusses the role of TV5 Québec Canada's development of a free web platform called FRANCOLAB, which is used by teachers and students across Canada as a resource for French language learning. Université des Mascareignes, the first French-language university of Mauritius, will open in 2013 with assistance from France's University of Limoges.
