In this paper, we apply the statefinder diagnostic to variable generalized Chaplygin gas (VGCG) with the sign-changeable interaction in which the interaction term Q can change its sign from Q<0 to Q>0 as the universe expands. The evolution trajectories of the statefinder pairs { r, s} and { r,...

This paper builds upon our recent paper on generalized fractional variational calculus (FVC). Here, we briefly review some of the fractional derivatives (FDs) that we considered in the past to develop FVC. We first introduce new one parameter generalized fractional derivatives (GFDs) which...

We provide a new definition for reproducing kernel space with weighted integral and present a method to construct and calculate the reproducing kernel for the space. The new reproducing kernel space is an enlarged reproducing kernel space, which contains the traditional reproducing kernel space....

In this paper, we study a cosmological model with the sign-changeable interaction between variable generalized Chaplygin gas (VGCG) and dark matter. The dynamical analysis indicates that there exists a stable scaling attractor, which can help to alleviate the coincidence problem. Furthermore,...

In this paper we are concerned with the problems of variable selection and estimation in double generalized linear models in which both the mean and the dispersion are allowed to depend on explanatory variables. We propose a maximum penalized pseudo-likelihood method when the number of...

In this paper, a nonisospectral fifth-order Korteweg-de Vries equation generalized from fluids is investigated. With symbolic computation, such equation is transformed into its bilinear form through a proposed dependent variable transformation with one more parameter than those in the existing...
