ABSTRACT
The article discusses the correlations between high gun ownership and murder in the U.S. and examines the misperception of murders similar to law-abiding people focusing on Second Amendment made in the U.S. Supreme Court cases District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. City of Chicago. It informs that many societies in the U.S. having few or no arms are more afflicted with homicide than societies where guns abound.
