ABSTRACT
The article reports on the announcement of the New York Solar Energy Industries Association (NYSEIA) to advocate for the long-term support of the NY Sun Initiative and expand solar policy and investment initiatives in 2013. NYSEIA president R. Sail Van Nostrand states that the growth of solar energy use in New York needs government indication to move energy generation from carbon-based to renewable and solar-based energy. It says that the NY Sun initiative is a step towards Solar Jobs Act.
