ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the application of enhanced coiled tubing in the Angsi oil field Of Malayasia. Exploration in the oil field began in 1974 but the well ceased production on mid-2008 because of low flow tubing head pressure. The application of completion insertion and retrieval under pressure (CIRP), via fiber optic-enabled coiled tubing was proven to be extremely successful to improve well intervention offshore Malaysia.
