ABSTRACT
The article considers business forecasting on international advertising spending for 2013. A consensus forecast by media buying services Group M, Zenith Optimedia and Magna of a 3.9 percent increase in spending for both 2012 and 2013 is discussed. A forecast that advertising spending in emerging markets will surpass that in the U.S. by 2014 is examined. Forecasts of increased Internet advertising spending are discussed.
