ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the role of appetite suppressants in the medical management of weight after bariatric surgery. It mentions that appetite suppressants can be adjunct to surgery in the long-term management of obesity. It further mentions that sympathomimetic medications can be used to decrease appetite and to increase the basal metabolic rate (BMR).
