ABSTRACT
The article reports that the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) has called on U.S. President Barack Obama's task force on gun violence to issue recommendations addressing key mental-health-related areas. In its letter to Vice President Joe Biden, the AMHCA discussed the said mental-health-related issues. The task force was carried out after the mass shooting at an elementary school in Newton, Connecticut.
