ABSTRACT
THE 1982 Falklands War casualty figures (Mail) are often misquoted: there's even a song with '255' in the title. The number of British deaths was actually 258 because three died on the hospital ship Uganda. One of the nurses from the Uganda wrote about her Falklands War experiences and dedicated it to those three. Stuart Prebble's recent book about HMS Conqueror is the only one I've read with the correct figure.
