ABSTRACT
The article reports on the development of a laboratory course for undergraduate atmospheric science program in the U.S. It explains that this course consists of two modules based on topics under investigation by faculty and it allows sophomore atmospheric science students to participate in an authentic research project within an academic semester. It describes the course design and structure.
