ABSTRACT
UNEP report "Towards the Green Economy: Pathways to Sustainable Development and Poverty Eradication" (2011) is reviewed and compared with several Russian documents drawn up for "RIO + 20" summit. Peculiarities of the Russian approach to the green economy are demonstrated.
