5.� �For the 3rd straight day since a Syrian shell killed 5 in a Turkish border town, the countries traded fire. Turkey doesn't want war, PM Tayyip Erdogan said, but warned Syria Pres. Bashar Assad he was making a "fatal mistake" if he continued to fire on Turkish soil. The U.N. supported Turkey's response; Russia urged restraint. Also, Syria began an artillery barrage vs. rebel-held Homs.
