ABSTRACT
The relationship between science and religion is not solved nowadays. A clear example of this epistemological conflict is the Intelligent Design theory, contemporary version of creationism. In this paper we expose the fundamental ideas of Intelligent Design, viewed as a pseudo-scientific theory, as well as the relationship between science and religion, and we expose F. J. Ayala's thesis of complementarity.
