ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision by Illinois Democrats to campaign for U.S. President Barack Obama in other parts of the country as Illinois has already sided with him in the November 2012 elections. The Democrats include Senator Richard Durbin, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Representative Danny Davis, who are engaging in speeches and interviews to promote Obama's re-election. It is noted that their support may help Obama increase turnout among African-Americans, Latinos and liberal voters.
