ABSTRACT
The article presents updates on the Mideast. Turkey has suspended defense industry ties with Israel and stopped trade while waiting for a decision on permanently suspending trade. Israel's Air force bombed a weapons factory in Gaza after rockets launched from Gaza struck Israel. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak met secretly in Jordan where Barak asked Abbas to stop Palestinian's bid for statehood declaration at the United Nations.
