ABSTRACT
The article presents the proposed rule for the physician fee schedule and Medicare Part B payments released by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for public comment. The proposed rule addresses the changes to the payment systems in medical practice and related services, implements provisions of the Affordable Care Act, and deals with the Chiropractic Services Demonstration program. Submissions of comments regarding the proposed rule are due on September 4, 2012.
