ABSTRACT
The article discusses the enactment of the Competitive Projects Payroll Incentive Program in accordance to Act 507, Laws 2012 in the state of Louisiana granting state and local sales tax, and use tax rebates to qualified businesses. It also defines qualified businesses as certified by the Secretary of the Department of Economic Development to have met program eligibility requirements. It offers more information on contract rebate provisions, eligibility requirements, and incentive limitations.
