ABSTRACT
The article reports on the growing issue of SWAT-ing in the U.S. The author mentions that SWAT-ing is a method that utilize voice over Internet (VOIP) connections, which enables suspects to falsify their identifying information, such as their telephone number and address, and make it almost impossible to track the call or the VOIP connection. He adds that such practice is also being used apparently by some left-wing activists who want to punish conservative bloggers who disagree politically.
