THE forthcoming bank holiday weekend [...]

THE forthcoming bank holiday weekend brings with it several potential hazards for residents of the capital. As well as the women's mini-marathon - 40,000 members of the fairer sex clogging up the streets as they go for a gentle stroll - there will also be a Formula 1 spectacle around the city centre. Though the star attraction is to be driver Jenson Button, the immaculately coiffed Eddie Jordan will also be making an appearance. Worst of all, however, 64-year-old Dubliner Eddie - a keen drummer in his spare time - is to give a recital with some fellow ageing musos. Rock'n'roll-io!
