ABSTRACT
The article focuses on terrorism risk in the U.S. a year after the death of leader Osama bin Laden. John Bolton, former U.S. ambassador the UN, admits that while bin Laden's death is a strong blow against al Qaeda, his demise does not mean an end to the Taliban rule in Afghanistan. War statistics show that insider attacks against coalition troops are rising. It does not help that after the troop pullout, Afghan leaders will form alliances with the Taliban, according to the author.
