Focuses on the reaction of the members of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies to the publication of a statement by Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (CACA) which calls for urgent action to deal with accounting effects of changing prices. Objection of the CACA to the proposal on the future of Statement of Standard Accounting Practice (SSAP) 16; Willingness of CACA to withdraw SSAP 16.
