STONEWALL, the gay rights campaign [...]

March 2012
Evening Standard;3/29/2012, p17
?STONEWALL, the gay rights campaign group, is holding its annual Equality Dinner tonight at the Dorchester. The main speaker is Clare Balding and guests will include Ken Livingstone, Boris Johnson and the Green candidate for Mayor, Jenny Jones. Oddly, Brian Paddick, the Lib-Dem candidate who is gay, won't be there. Let's hope he's not taking the gay vote for granted. "I've got a major fundraiser this evening," he tells me. "To be perfectly honest, I don't have control of my diary. It's not a personal decision by me. I'm very sorry I won't be able to be there."
