ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the use of the assistive and mobility technology which may lead towards independence and socialization of children who are nonverbal. It says that the stroller-like device may have been functional and easy to transport, thus it promotes independence to a child with physical disabilities. Martin Seligman says that the delay in moving a child to a self-propel device will allow a sense of learned helplessness to develop and affect the abilty to use self-propulsion.
