49 & WOW!

February 2012
People;2/6/2011, Vol. 77 Issue 5, p58
The article focuses on the actress Kelly Preston. Preston's weight loss diet and exercise program following the 2010 birth of her son Benjamin Travolta is examined, particularly the difficulty of such weight loss at Preston's age of 49. It is noted that Preston did no acting for a year following the birth of her son, and chose sports such as basketball, swimming and tennis for exercise rather than a formal physical training program. A dietary supplement Preston used as part of her weight loss program is discussed. Preston's husband John Travolta expresses pride in his wife's ability to succeed at weight loss.
