The article examines the way to conduct a product's usability test with kids for high technology products. With current methods of high-technology product usability testing with children, a few approaches consistently obtain real insight into the reactions of parents and children, which includes likes and dislikes of a product. Placing products directly through in-home visits serves many purposes. First, that's where the respondents feel most comfortable. Second, the product is used in context, competing for attention with other products and activities. Going directly to kids is the best way to test a high-technology product's usability.
