The article discusses books and media related to Arkansas history. It comments on the online resource the Arkansas History Hub, located at www.ARHistoryHub.com, which presents history lessons for Arkansas history. The author also notes that the Arkansas Genealogical Society has begun publishing an electronic newsletter. Books examined include "The Dogs of War: 1861," by Emory M. Thomas, "Confederate Generals in the Western Theater, Volume Three: Essays on America’s Civil War," edited by Lawrence Lee Hewitt and Arthur W.
