ABSTRACT
The article reports on developments pertaining to the railroad industry in Great Britain. It discusses the use of tunnel boring machines (TBM) in various railway projects in the region including the preparatory work at the Royal Arsenal Riverside development. It also highlights developments at the central London Crossrail station sites, including the steelwork and concrete decks for the Paddington Integrated Project (PIP) and the installation of new escalators at Custom House station.
