The article discusses the campaign of the U.S. and Israel to prevent the move of UNESCO to grant Palestinian membership. It says that U.S.'s UNESCO ambassador David Killion urges all delegations not to vote for Palestinian request. Israel's ambassador to UNESCO Nimrod Barkan states that the move will not advance Palestinian aspirations and will cause harm to the agency.
