ABSTRACT
The article presents 6 easy ideas which can be helpful in making plain walls colorful and attractive. A chevron pattern can be painted on a section of the wall to create a 3D illusion and in this trick different shades of the same colour family are used. Finials, which are decorative pieces, have become graphic wall decorations that can also be used for hanging items such as hats and scarves. Wallpapers that mimic timber panelling, concrete, even stone, can also be used on plain walls.
