ABSTRACT
The article reports on the participation of worldwide bidders in the Allsop/Space distressed Irish property auction held at the Shelbourne hotel in Dublin, Ireland in July 2011. Based on figures, the auction of residential and commercial lots raised a total of 16 million euros. Among the sough-after lots sold were a house on the exclusive Ailesbury Road, a freehold mid-terrace three-bed room house in Kells, and two attached houses on Killiney Hill Road.
